The South Eastern Kenya University, SEKU has already commenced the 2024 Academic year. Applicants who received a formal letter of offer to join the University this academic year 2024/2025 are required to complete the registration process online.

SEKU FIRST YEAR STUDENTS ONLINE REGISTRATION DATES, GUIDELINES AND PORTAL
1.Submission of Documents.
- Scan the following documents and convert to ONE PDF file and submit to the email: admissiondocs@seku.ac.ke
- Joining Instructions
- KCSE result slip
- National Identity Card/Birth Certificate
2. Creation of Student Portal Account
- Follow the attached guidelines to a Student portal account
- NOTE: Please ensure that you have paid full fees for Semester 1 before creating a student account.
3. Unit Registration.
- Access the University website
- Select Students >>Student Portal
- Login to the student portal
- Enter the Registration Number and Password eg. D166/0002/2020
- The main Dashboard will appear
- Select Academic Details/Student Name
- Select Academic Details
- Select Unit Registration
- Select the Units to register by checking the ☐ check box
- Select the Selected Units
- Select to Register the Selected Units
- Select to Units to register
- You have now successfully registered.
4. Booking Accommodation
- NOTE: This mail is only applicable to the first years 2024/2025, who have not yet filled the online Hostel Booking Form.Please ensure that you have paid your Tuition and Accommodation fees via Bank Accounts or Mpesa Pay Bill Number before you fill the form. We shall confirm with the finance office your payment status.
