Christ the Teacher Institute for Education (School of Education), Tangaza University College in Collaboration with Misean Cara invites needy young people to apply for a scholarship to earn a Bachelor of Education degree. This scholarship is aimed at making the financially less privileged agents of social transformation.

TANGAZA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, TUC SCHOLARSHIPS ELIGIBILITY
Scholars are selected on the following criteria:
- Must have scored a Mean Grade of C+ (plus) in KCSE.
- Must prove that they are needy.
- Must be residents of Kibera or other informal settlements.
- Must be ready to start classes in January 2020.
- Must not be a Diploma or Degree holder.
TANGAZA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, TUC SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
Applications must be submitted physically at the Admissions Office, School of Education, Tangaza University College on or before 15th of November 2019. As you submit the following requirements at the Admissions Office, please pick and fill an application form.
The Application requirements involves:
- A copy of KCSE certificate.
- A one-page handwritten essay entitled: “Why I want to become a teacher?”
- A one-page handwritten background story about yourself.
- Recommendation letter from a Religious Leader, a CBO/NGO, or former School Principal.
- Two Passport size photos.
- A copy of National Identity Card.
