Upon your graduation, on 18th and 19th December 2019, Technical University of Kenya, TUK confirmed a high number of graduates with both Certificates, Diplomas and Bachelor Degrees from various spectrum of courses offered at TUK. The occasion that was graced by high number of dignitaries and Excellencies. Of the very many graduates whose transcripts are ready for collection, graduands are expected to note the transcript/certificate collection dates as stated below.

TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF KENYA 7TH GRADUATION PRINTED CERTIFICATE/TRANSCRIPT COLLECTION PROCEDURE

The Certificate printing process has been completed and have revised the collection procedures as follows:

POINT OF ISSUE:

  • The certificates shall be collected from the Office of the Senior Assistant Registrar — Examination and Certification situated on the ground floor of Administration Block.

OFFICE HOURS:

  • Office of the Senior Assistant Registrar — Examination and Certification, shall be open during working days from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

COLLECTION PROCEDURE:

  • To collect your academic certificate, please visit the University website: www.tukenya.ac.ke and click the Fees Statement link. On the menu to the left, click on “Certificate Collection Form”. Print this form in duplicate and process it with University officers listed before presenting it at the Examinations Office.
  • Please note that if the form fails to print, then you should first attend to the administrative issues highlighted above the menu.

POINTS TO NOTE:

  • Any graduate who will not have collected her/his academic certificate by 31st June 2020 shall be required to pay a storage fee of KSh1,000 per year.
  • Only graduates who have cleared with the University shall be issued with their academic certificates.
  • Those who graduated before 2019 are urged to collect their certificates immediately to avoid accumulation of demurrage charges.
  • Any graduate of either the Kenya Polytechnic University College or the Technical University of Kenya who will not have cleared outstanding fees by 31st August 2020 will have their details submitted to Credit Reference Bureaus (CRB).

NOTE: Each graduate is required to come in person between 9 am & 6 pm on the allocated date either by school or department. Please remember to carry your the following because it will be required for collection of your certificates;

  •  Original copy of your clearance form from your Campus/Centre (for Campus/centre students) and from the University (for Main Campus students)
  • Original National ID or Valid Passport

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The names on the Degree certificate will appear as they are in the National ID/Passport in the order of First name, Middle name and Surname. While collecting certificates, graduates must ensure that their names are correctly spelt.

Certificates must be safely kept Duplicates are never issued.

CERTIFICATION

  • Each graduate is entitled to one set (transcript and certificate) of certified copies on the day of collection.
