An aggregate KCSE grade of C+ (PLUS) or a relevant Diploma from a recognized Institution
UMMA UNIVERSITY, UU KENYA POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
A holder of a bachelor’s degree with Second class-Upper Division from a recognised institution of higher learning, or a holder of a lower second class degree with 2 (two) years’ experience in relevant field. In addition applicants must meet specific schools requirement. In exceptional cases, the Senate may also admit to the Master’s programme non-holders of a first degree provided such candidates can on the basis of published research, academic and creative work they have done, show that they are qualified to undertake postgraduate work by passing qualifying examinations

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
Mean grade C+ at KCSE with a C+ plus in Maths Or Physics or Physical Sciences. Two principals one must be in Maths or Physics at “A” level. OR Diploma with at least a credit in Computer Science or equivalent from recognised institutions

(I) Mean grade of KCSE C+ or equivalent with at least C in Mathematics and English. (ii). A-Level certificate with 2 principal passes and a credit pass in Mathematics at ‘O’ Level (iii). Degree from a recognized university. (iv). Mean grade of C (plain) at KCSE and C (plain) in Mathematics and English plus a Diploma in Business Management and/or a diploma relevant to disciplines in business from an institution recognized by Umma University senate.(v) Mean grade of C- (C Minus) at KCSE plus a certificate and a diploma in Business management and/or a certificate and diploma relevant to disciplines in business Management from an institution recognized by Umma University Senate. Mean grade C+ at KCSE, with a C plain in Maths and English or Kiswahili, OR 2 Principal passes and 1 subsidiary at A-level plus at least a credit in Math, OR a Diploma in a Business-related field, OR CPA/CPS II, OR HND in Business related disciplines from a recognised institution. CPA/CPS III, Diploma and HND attract credit transfer
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Direct entry and upgrading)
Direct entry: KCSE mean grade C+ and above and C+ and above in Maths or Physics, C+ in English or Kiswahili, C+ in Chemistry, C+ in Biology. For Up-grading: KCSE mean grade C or Div. II and Diploma in Registered Nursing and a Minimum of two years working experience in a healthcare institution recognised by NCK (Nursing Council of Kenya
Master of arts in Islamic Studies
