In this regard, the University wishes to announce vacancies in its internship programme for the year 2020/2021 in the following areas:

6. Science Laboratories Diploma in :
   • Analytical Chemistry
   • Science Laboratory
   • Applied Biology (Animal Science/Museum Technology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/ Zoology/Plant Taxonomy)
7. Agricultural Laboratories Diploma in:
   • Analytical Chemistry
   • Applied Biology (Animal Science)
8. Estates and Maintenance Degree/Diploma in:
   • Architecture
   • Quantity Surveying
   • Structural/Civil Engineering
   • Building & Construction
   • Electrical Engineering

9. Library Degree/Diploma in:
   • Records Management
   • Information/Library Science
10. Farm Diploma in:
    • Animal Science

In addition the applicants should;

1. Have good written and verbal communication skills;
2. Have working knowledge of computer applications;
3. Be persons of high integrity; and
4. Be prepared to obtain personal accident insurance cover once offered the opportunity.

HOW TO APPLY FOR UNIVERSITY OF EMBU INTERNSHIPS

How to apply:

1. Visit the University of Embuwebsite; embuni.ac.ke, select the Job Application Portal and fill in your details as guided; and
2. Submit one (1) hard copy application package (with job reference number clearly marked on the envelope) with the following;
   1. Application letter
   2. Detailed curriculum vitae (signed on all pages) with names of three (3) referees who are well known you
   3. Copies of certified academic and professional certificates
   4. A copy of the National ID card
   5. Other relevant testimonials

Note: Applicants who do not submit one (1) hard copy of the application package will not be considered.

• The Application Package (hard and soft copy) should reach the undersigned not later than 5.00 pm on Friday, 15th  January, 2021
