It is announced for the information of prospective applicants and the general public that the School of Graduate Studies, AUK, is offering the graduate programmes for the 2023 academic year leading to the award of Postgraduate Diploma, Masters and Doctorate Degrees.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS, and SPECIAL CASES.
AUK POSTGRADUATE APPLICATION PROCEDURE & ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Entry Requirements:
1.Postgraduate Diploma: 1 year duration. At least 3rd class degree or higher or lower credit in HND.
2.Masters (Professional): 1 year duration. A minimum of 2nd class lower degree or a minimum of 2nd class upper degree in a non-related with a good postgraduate diploma in relevant area.
3.Masters (Academic): 2 years duration. A degree with a CGPA not below 2.75 in the relevant area or 3rd class degree plus a postgraduate diploma with minimum CGPA of 3.00.
4. Ph.D: 3 years duration. Academic Masters in relevant area with CGPA of at least 3.50.
5. MPhil: 1 year duration. MPhil candidate must satisfies all admission requirement for Ph.D plus a CGPA of 3.00 – 3.50.
Application Procedure
All applicants are required to use the Al-Qalam University, Katsina [AUK] online application portal. The Cost of AUK postgraduate forms:
- MSc, M.A. and M. Ed. = ₦15,000
- Ph.D = ₦30,000
Appication Deadline
- The closing date for submission of application forms is 28th February 2023. Candidates should note that NO application will be accepted after the deadline.
