The authority of the Imo State University, IMSU every academic session releases the admission requirements and the cutoff points needed for admission into its prestigious university. The cutoff points are stated below:

• Please as at the time of this publication, the IMSU cut off points for admission into any desired course is dependent on the cut off mark provided by the Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB)
• The JAMB cutoff mark set for entry into any program at the Imo State University, IMSU is 120 on a scale of 400.
• Therefore, there is no specific departmental cut off mark set by the Imo State University, IMSU.
