It is announced for the information of prospective applicants and the general public that the School of Graduate Studies, MCIU, is offering the graduate programmes for the 2024 academic year leading to the award of Postgraduate Diploma, Masters and Doctorate Degrees.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS, and SPECIAL CASES.
MCIU POSTGRADUATE APPLICATION PROCEDURE & ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Entry Requirements:
Students that can apply for post-graduate doctoral study of International and Diplomatic Relations are those who have finished:
- 2nd level study programme;
- Higher education programme and study programme for gaining specialising other study obligations worth 30 to 60 KT are fulfilled. These are determined by the study committee according to the type of the study programme of the undergraduate study and specialisation;
- Study programme from the fourth paragraph of Article 36 ZviS[1] provided that is assessed 300 KT(coherent study programmes);
- Study programmes for obtaining a university degree, accepted before 11th April 2004.
Students who have completed an equal education abroad also fulfil the conditions for the enrolment.
Criteria for the selection:
Provided that the number of the enrolled candidates excesses the number of the available spots, the enrolment will be limited according to Article 41 ZViS. The committee for student matters will determine the selection of candidates. The following criteria will be followed:
An average assessment mark in the undergraduate study or post-graduate study……………… 50 %
Thesis assessment mark, specialised or bachelor study ……………………………………..……………………………… 40%
Other academic achievements (competition, awards, publications etc.) …………………………………….. 10 %.
The school enables a continuation of the study and an enrolment into a study programme according to the criteria of transition. Candidates can obtain the information about the continuation of the study programme according to the criteria of transition at school.
