This article contains information on the Makerere University, MAK 2021 Resumption Dates – Re-Opening Dates. It involves significant dates for the new Academic year.
As you are aware, face-to-face teaching and learning was suspended throughout the country due to the global pandemic on 13th March 2020 and all educational institutions were advised to embrace technology by changing delivery mode to online. At Makerere University, MAK, students were transited to the virtual learning platform for courses that do not require practicals.
The Makerere University, MAK wishes to inform the following remaining groups of students that the commencement dates of the 2022/2023 Academic Years are as follows:

All students and staff must strictly adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures put in place by the Ministry of Health to combat the spread of global pandemic which include among others
- Mandatory wearing of a clean mask covering the mouth and nose
- Social distancing
- Washing of hands with soap and/or sanitizing hands.
