Application for the MAPRONANO MSc Research Scholarships – 2019/2020 Entry is now open at the Makerere University, Kampala Uganda.
The Africa Center of Excellence in Materials, Product Development and Nanotechnology (MAPRONANO ACE) supported by the World Bank and hosted by the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT) at Makerere University, Kampala Uganda announces Master’s scholarships for the academic year 2019/2020.
The scholarship program will support a one-time research cost of up to US$ 2,000 for males and US$ 3,000 for females in the fields of Engineering, Energy, Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences and Health Sciences.
The scholarships promote the core research mandate of the center in three key thematic areas;
1) Materials Science & Product Development
2) Nanotechnology Innovations
3) Nano medicine
The Scholarships Are Tenable For A Period Of 1 Year.
The Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships in the world. The aim of the program is to create a global network of future leaders committed to improving the lives of others.
MAPRONANO MSC RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- All applications should be sent in soft copies in one PDF file and sent to; bmujuni7@gmail.com or mapronanocedatmak@gmail.com.
Application must include:
- A Motivation letter (one page)
2. Admission letter
3. Two recommendation letters preferably from the employer or previous academic supervisor
4. A recent Curriculum Vitae (CV), Maximum 2 –pages
5. A fully defended proposal approved by the host department
6. Please note that funding will be disbursed after completion of verification survey
- The deadline for submission is October 25th 2019 at 5:00 pm. Successful applicants shall be notified by November 06th 2019. Female students are strongly encouraged to apply.

I was supposed to have finished my research by now but I haven’t received ty full fund. Out of the 3000 USA dollar have only received 1000. I am inquiring about the balance
