Please note: For Semester 1, 2026, Cornerstone Institute has transitioned from the Funda (Sakai) Learning Management System to Moodle (moodle.cornerstone.ac.za). All course content, assignments, and communication will now take place on Moodle. To access Moodle, use the “Sign in with Google” option with your official Cornerstone student email address, which must be activated before your first login. Virtual orientation videos, a Moodle demo, and a Moodle Student Guide are available once you log in.

Before you begin, download and review these key documents from cornerstone.ac.za:

Yearbook 2026 — contains module descriptors and curriculum grids for your specific programme and delivery mode (contact or distance). Use the correct grid for your qualification.
Student Handbook 2026 — contains institutional policies, rules of conduct, student support services, and Moodle instructions.
Fee Structure 2026 — details the non-refundable initial payment of R5,180.00, cost per credit, payment plans, and refund policies.
Academic Calendar 2026 — master schedule for all key dates

For First-Time Applicants:

Submit your application at unisis.cornerstone.ac.za/apply.
Await your admission offer and monitor cornerstone.ac.za for updates.
Once admitted, make the required initial payment of R5,180.00 as detailed in the Fee Structure 2026 document.
After payment, log in to the UniSIS Student Portal to select your modules.

For Returning Students:

Visit https://cornerstone.ac.za
Log in to the UniSIS Student Portal using your existing credentials.
Check that your “Student Basic Details” under “My Profile” are up-to-date.
Clear any outstanding financial or academic holds on your account before proceeding. Contact bursar@cornerstone.ac.za for financial holds.
Click “Registration” to register and select your modules according to your curriculum grid from the Yearbook 2026.
Confirm your registration and download your Proof of Registration from your portal dashboard.
