CUT Registration Dates and Deadline for 2025
This article contains the Central University of Technology (CUT) registration dates and deadlines for the 2026 academic year. It also contains a link to the institution’s registration information and the registration portal.
The management of the Central University of Technology (CUT) has opened the student registration portal for fresh and continuing students to register their courses for the semester, both at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. Specific dates and deadlines have been set for the registration as well as the closure of the registration portal. It is advisable to register early in order not to lose your studentship at CUT, as late registration will not be permitted.
The registration deadline or closing date is always a registration submission timeline that is set by the institution for registering courses and modules for the semester. South African schools (universities and colleges) usually have their submission deadline within 2 weeks to 1 month after the student registration portal is opened.
Therefore, it is expected for all CUT students (both new and old) to meet the stated registration timeline as stated below to be on the safe side.
CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (CUT) REGISTRATION TIMELINES AND DEADLINE
Applicants are required to take note of the registration dates below:
- First time entering student registration | First-years: 22 – 27 January 2025
- Senior registration: 28 – 31 January 2025
- Course control week | cancellation and changes:
3-7 February 2025extended to Friday, 14 February 2025
Masters and Doctorate degrees
- First-time registrations: 30 January 2025 – 31 August 2025
- Continued registrations: 22 January 2025 – 28 February 2025
