Faculty of Social Sciences All applicants who have received notification of admission to specified programmes of study at the National University of Lesotho are advised to note the critical information below:
  • Admission is provisional until all requisite conditions have been satisfied.
  • Admission into the University is not linked to sponsorship. Payment of all mandatory fees remains sole responsibility of students. However, if students have secured sponsorship, they are expected to advise their sponsors to confirm such sponsorship in writing to the University.
  • Fees are payable in full on or before the beginning of the academic year’s registration.
  • It is an offence to access the University facilities, including attendance of lectures, without settlement of all mandatory fees.
  • To accept the offer of admission:
  • Carefully read the conditions of admissions as set out in the attached Acceptance Form.
  • Complete and return the acceptance form and application for accommodation form to the Admissions Secretary, National University of Lesotho, P.O. Roma 180, Lesotho.
  • Ensure that the completed Acceptance Form reaches the Office of Admissions Secretary.
  • Pay the following mandatory fees on acceptance: (Acceptance fee M630.00; Caution fee M420.00; Student ID fee M60.00).
  • Submit proof of payment of the fees in (iv) above to the office of Admissions Secretary upon arrival on campus.
  • Produce original academic certificates from last attended institution(s) during academic registration.
