The management of the Orbit TVET College (ORBIT) has opened the student registration portal for fresh and continuing students to register their courses for the semester both at the diploma, undergraduate and the postgraduate level. Specific dates and deadlines have been set for the registration as well as the closure of the registration portal. It is advisable to register early inorder not to lose your studentship at ORBIT as late registration would not be permitted.
The registration deadline or closing date is always a registration submission timeline that is set by the institution for registering courses and modules for the semester. South African schools (universities and colleges) usually have their submission deadline within 2 weeks to 1 month after the student registration portal is opened.
Therefore, it is expected for all ORBIT students (both new and old) to meet the stated registration timeline as stated below to be on the safe side.
ORBIT TVET COLLEGE (ORBIT) REGISTRATION TIMELINES AND DEADLINE
Applicants are required to take note of the registration dates below:
- Registration for 2022/2023 will be open from Monday, 27 January for all students who have applied online.
- Registration for senior NCV students will commence in February 2023.
- Registration for both new and senior applicants will only be done ONLINE. No walk-ins will be assisted due to the pandemic regulations.
Students are to return to campuses to attend classes as follows:
NATIONAL CERTIFICATE (VOCATIONAL)
- NCV Level 2 students: Monday 27 January 2023
- NCV Level 3 and Level 4: Monday, 08 February 2023

- N1, N5 AND N6: Monday 27 January 2023
- N2, N3 AND N4: Monday, 08 February 2023
