Field of Study
The learnership focuses on the technical and practical aspects of the manufacturing industry.
- National Certificate: Clothing, Textile, Footwear and Leather Manufacturing Processes.
- SAQA Qualification ID:Â 58227.
- NQF Level:Â Level 2.
- Minimum Credits:Â 120.
- Duration:Â 12 Months.
Successful candidates will be trained to participate effectively in workplace activities within the CTFL industries, bridging the gap between basic skills and professional employment.
Eligibility and Requirements
To be considered for this programme, applicants must meet specific entry requirements set by the Department of Higher Education and Training and the College.
Minimum Entry Requirements:
- You must have passed Grade 12.
- You must demonstrate experience or a strong passion for sewing and clothing design.
- You must be a resident of Pretoria (Proof of residence will be required).
- Applicants must be between 18 – 35 years old.
- Open to South African Citizens only.
