Log in with the temporary email and password provided by the admissions team. From there, request your official EduRole portal login credentials. Once received, proceed to https://www.nkrumah.edu.zm/edurole/ to complete your account activation and set a permanent password. Do not attempt to use SOAS for course registration or results — it is not connected to those functions.

1. Open your internet browser e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc.
2. Go to https://www.nkrumah.edu.zm/edurole/
3. Log in with your student number as your username and your password.

Important (2026): All students must complete mandatory registration within the stipulated period each academic year. Failure to do so may result in suspension of your portal access as outlined in Official Notice No. 666 — “MANDATORY STUDENT REGISTRATION AND STUDENT PORTAL SUSPENSION.” Monitor your university email and the portal homepage regularly for registration deadline announcements.

HOW TO RECOVER YOUR KNU STUDENT PORTAL FORGOTTEN PASSWORD?

• To reset your password, click the “Forgot Password” link on the EduRole login page at https://www.nkrumah.edu.zm/edurole/. Submit your username (student number) or registered email address. If your details are found in the database, an email will be sent to your registered address with instructions on how to regain access.

KWAME NKRUMAH UNIVERSITY, KNU ELEARNING PORTAL

The Kwame Nkrumah University seeks to improve learning processes for its students. The university has adopted a Learning Management System (LMS) that makes it easy for students to attend classes online, get lecture notes and submit assignments anywhere and anytime.

This E-learning platform helps lecturers upload their courses and course materials (i.e. course outlines, lecture notes/PowerPoint presentations, recommended reading books/journals, videos, forums) on the E-learning platform to enable students to access them for continuing academic work.

Note (2026): The university has transitioned from a Moodle-based system to Canvas LMS as its current e-learning platform. The official Canvas LMS URL should be confirmed directly from the university portal or your official university email, as it is the most reliable source for the current login address.
