LIST OF UNDERGRADUATE COURSES OFFERED AT ZAMBIA INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS
Below is the full detail of all the diploma, certificate and professional courses offered at the Evelyn Hone College.
1. CA Zambia
CA Zambia is a premier professional accountancy qualification designed to enhance recognition and status of graduates. A holder of CA Zambia is a highly skilled and competent accountant who has completed both the professional examinations and compulsory 3-year practical training programme.
The CA Zambia has a three-tier examination structure and an additional work experience requirement. These are outlined as Knowledge Level, Application Level and Advisory Level.
2. Taxation Programme
The Diploma in Accountancy aims to develop, downstream and intermediate level accounting personnel capable of preparing various statutory returns and reports that support value addition of the accounting profession to the private and public sector organisations. The programme has 12 modules divided into two levels:
- Level 1: The first level comprises seven (7) subjects that introduces candidates to the field of business and accounting in particular.
- Level 2: Comprises five (5) subjects and prepares students to demonstrate a grasp of accounting skills required to prepare various statutory returns and reports that support value addition of the accounting profession to various businesses and public sector.
3. Diploma In Accountancy Programme
The programme has two levels, the certificate and the diploma. Each level consists of six (6) modules. The candidates who pass the six (6) modules at the certificate level are awarded with a ZICA Certificate in Taxation and those who pass all the six (6) modules at Diploma level are awarded with the ZICA Professional Diploma in Taxation.
4. Diploma In Public Sector Financial Management
The Public Sector Financial Management Programme has Six (6) Modules. All the Modules are compulsory. Candidates who pass all the Modules will be awarded the ZICA Diploma in Public Sector Financial Management.
