We are happy to present to you the Regional Maritime University, RMU 14th Congregation: List of Graduating Students -2020. The Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the University Council, Management Board and Senate has released the names of successful graduands.
The first-ever Regional Maritime University, RMU blended (virtual and in-person) graduation ceremony will be held for all final year students who have successfully completed their academic programmes of study during the 2024 academic Year. This arrangement for the 14th Congregation Ceremony has become necessary in order to comply with the health safety protocols.
Therefore all successful graduands can check their names below or on the university website.
REGIONAL MARITIME UNIVERSITY, RMU 14TH GRADUATION LIST FOR 2020
The Regional Maritime announces that the 14th Congregation ceremony will be held for students of the under-listed Departments and the School of Graduate Studies, who completed their programmes of study during the 2018/2019 and 20 l 9/2020 academic years on Saturday, 5th September, 2020 at 9 am. at the Afi-ica Unity Auditorium:
- School of Graduate Studies M.A. Ports and Shipping Admin.
- Department of Marine Engineering B.Sc. Marine Engineering/ B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering/Diploma in Marine Engineering
- Department of Electrical/Electronic Engineering – B.Sc.Electrical/Electronic Engineering/ Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Eng.
- Department of Information, Communication Tech. – B.Sc. Computer Engineering Department of Transport/ B.Sc. Ports and Shipping Administration/ B.Sc. Logistics Management/ Dip. in Ports anti Shipping Management
- Department of Nautical Studies – B.Sc. Nautical Science/ Diploma in Nautical Science
Accordingly, students who completed their programmes in June 2020 and who wish to be presented during the 14th congregation ceremonies are required to take note of the following:
- Ensure that all outstanding financial obligations to the university have been fulfilled.
- Register from Friday, August 21,2020. End of payment for registration is close of work on Wednesday, August 26,2020.
- The graduation fee is $106 or its Ghana Cedi equivalent.
- Graduands will be required to attend the ceremony without being accompanied by the parents/guardians/ relatives et as the ceremony will be streamed live on Facebook and YouTube.
- No Party will be entertained on campus
List of eligible graduands to be presented will be available on the University’s website and notice boards on campus.
The graduation ceremony will be presided over by the University Chancellor and other councils who will award Diplomas and Certificates and confer Degrees.

Examination Results
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.
Clearance & Fees
Graduands who have successfully completed their programmes during the 2024 academic Year and wish to be presented during the August, 2020 Congregation are required to be cleared of any financial obligations to the University prior to registration for the Congregation.
List of Graduands
The list will be posted as soon as it is approved. Continuously keep on confirming with your Department if you have met the Graduation requirements. The online Congregation Brochure containing the list of the graduands will also be made available on the website.
Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately.
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
Graduands must ensure that all courses taken in their program of study have been graded and passed and that there are no missing courses or grades.
Punctuality
Graduands must take seats by 9.00 am.
