Application for the University of Cape Coast, UCC StuFSO Scholarship For Distance Students – 2021 Entry is now open for brilliant and needy International & Ghanaian Students at the University of Cape Coast, UCC in Ghana.
StuFSO provides scholarships and other funding support opportunities for Ghanaian students who need such supports, and who apply for the scholarships during the advertisement, either prior to their admission or during their study. The decision of the Centre to grant full funding to any candidate shall be subject to the qualification criteria and other requirements to be provided in the advertisement and assessment of candidates for admissions as well as the availability of funds.
A full scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, stipend and research grant. A conference and other travel grants may also be included where applicable and when necessary. A partial scholarship covers one or more of (or a percentage of) tuition, accommodation, stipend and research grant, but not all.
The Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships in Ghana. The aim of the program is to create a global network of future leaders committed to improving the lives of others.
UNIVERSITY OF CAPE COAST, UCC StuFSO SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for consideration for the Centralized Scholarship/Bursary Scheme administered by StuFSO, the applicant must satisfy the following conditions: –
- Must be a Ghanaian by birth
- Be enrolled as a student of the University of Cape Coast on any of the University’s distance programmes.
- Be able to demonstrate financial need and must be ready to supply any documentary evidence for decision making.
- Must not be a beneficiary of another scholarship scheme.
- Must be brilliant as determined by the University.
- Must complete an application form by providing the right information.
Requirements
- Minimum CGPA Requirement is 2.5
- Applicant must have and institutional email
- Undergraduate applicant must complete the first academic year
The following supporting documents are required
- Scanned copy of one of the following identification cards. (NHIS Card or National Identification Card or Voters ID and Passport)
- Scanned copy of death certificate in case of death of parent
UNIVERSITY OF CAPE COAST, UCC StuFSO SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
To apply to StuFSO for scholarship, fill the online scholarship application form on the StuFSO website and upload the required documents. An application in which there is an omission of any of the required documents will be deemed an incomplete application and will not be considered.
