UNIVERSITY OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES ACCRA ADMISSION GUIDELINES AND FORMS

Application to UPSA is basically online notwithstanding your preference. We therefore advise applicants to begin the application process early. To become a student at the University of Professional Studies Accra, you have to note the following:

Online Application Procedure

(I) DOMESTIC APPLICANTS/GENERAL ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Steps to Complete the Online Application Form
  • Completion of Online Application Form All applications must be completed on-line i.e.
  • Log on to upsa.edu.gh to access the on-line application form.
    • Use the Online Serial Numbers (OSN) and the receipt number to start the application process.

Note: Please note that a change of programme after the submission of the application would not be possible.
  • Purchase of Online Serial Numbers (OSN) Online Serial Numbers (OSN) for the University of Professional Studies, Accra are available for purchase at the cost of GH¢200.00 for Ghanaian Applicants and US$120.00 for International Applicants at the following sales points:
    • Any Ecobank or Access Bank branch nation-wide
    • Any Ghana Post (Post Office) branch nation-wide
    • By Visa/Master Card/Tigo Cash/Airtel Money using the link http://interpayafrica.com/custom/upsa
    • By mobile money (all networks) short code: *887*18#
Submission of Supporting Documents
Using A-4 manila envelope, all applicants except WASSCE applicants must submit the following documents by COURIER and NOT by hand delivery:
  • A printed-out and endorsed applicant’s declaration slip
  • Certified copies of all certificate(s)
  • Original transcript(s) of academic records (applicable to First Degree, Professional, University Diploma & HND applicants only)
  • Birth certificate
The manila envelope should be submitted by COURIER to the address below:

(II) INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS
Foreign Applicants/Ghanaians Abroad should follow the general admission procedure stated above. 

Note that no application will be processed without proof of payment of the fee.

Attachment of Supporting Documents

All applicants are expected to scan and attach the following documents to their online application forms. All such documents to be attached must be scanned into PDF format.
  • Certified copies of all certificates
  • Certified copies of original transcript(s) of academic records
  • Certificates confirmed by the professional body is required for professional applicants
  • Birth certificate

  1. I have been trying to complete the application form for my son, who is writing the WASSE. Anytime i get to the Educational qualifications, it tells me to enter subjects for ACBE, which he has not written .What should I do to proceed?
