EGERTON UNIVERSITY ADMISSION APPLICATION GUIDELINES
- Applicants may obtain the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes application forms at non-refundable fee of 2,000/= and Diploma application forms Ksh. 1,000/=.
- Application fee is payable to the following Egerton University Account Numbers A/C No 1101906812 Kenya Commercial Bank.
- The forms may be obtained from: Admissions Office, Teacher Education Department Office, Graduate School, Dean, Faculty of Education Community Studies (FEDCOS), Njoro Campus; and Principal, Nakuru Town Campus College
- Duly completed forms and original application fee payment receipt or Bankers Slip attached should be sent to:-

- Hand deliveries should be made to the Central Registry at Njoro Campus.

Diploma in Primary Education | KCSE with a minimum mean grade of C or D+ and a P1 certificate with two (2) years teaching experience
OR KCSE mean grade C plain and a P1 certificate. |
Bachelor of Education (Primary)
With any of the following options

KCSE mean grade C+ or equivalent and P1 Certificate and at least C+ in any two subjects in the area of specialization.
OR S1 or Diploma in the relevant area, with (2) years teaching experience and wish to specialize in Primary Education |
Bachelor of Education (Science)
In any of the following subject below |
KCSE mean grade C+ and C in English and above and at least grade C+ in Mathematics and |
Combinations:

Bachelor of Education (Arts) In any two of the following subjects:

Bachelor of Science (Clothing, Textiles and Interior Design) | KCSE mean grade C+ with a minimum of C+ in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
OR Diploma with Credit or pass with at least two years working experience in Clothing, Textiles and Interior related disciplines. |
Bachelor of Science (Agriculture and Human Ecology Extension) | KCSE mean grade C+ with a minimum of B- in Biology, Chemistry and C+ in Mathematics.

Bachelor of Science (Agricultural Education and Extension) | KCSE mean grade C+ and a minimum of C+ in Biology,or Biological science,Physics, Chemistry or Physical Science and Agriculture or Geography.
OR S1 or Diploma in Agricultural Education and Extension. OR Diploma in Agriculture or related discipline OR ‘A’level certificate with two principal passes in relevant subjects. |
Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) | KCSE mean grade C+ and minimum of C+ in the following subject: English or Kiswahili; and
any two of the Humanities: History/CRE/History & Government. OR P1 teaching certificate with KCSE mean grade of C (plain) OR Credit diploma in ECDE, Primary Education and Special Education from recognized institutions. |
