We are happy to present to you the Garissa University 2nd Graduation List – 2021. The Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the University Council, the Management Board and Senate has released the names of successful graduands.

GARISSA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE 2ND GRADUATION LIST FOR 2021
Garissa University wishes to inform all students who qualified for the award of various degrees and diplomas at the end of last academic year (2022/2023) and members of the public, that the 2nd Graduation Ceremony will be held VIRTUALLY on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 commencing at 8.00 a.m. at Graduation Square. The event will be streamed live social media platforms.

Graduands and their parents/guardians should NOT come to Campus for the Ceremony. Only postgraduates (Doctorate and Masters graduands) will attend and represent all the other graduands. Garissa University students should clear financially and collect gowns from their Campus offices. Graduands are advised to check below for the full list of graduands.
The graduation ceremony will be presided over by the University Chancellor and other councils who will award Diplomas and Certificates and confer Degrees.

Examination Results
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.
Clearance & Graduation Fees
All candidates should confirm the accuracy and order of their names from offices of respective Deans of Faculties, and meet all requirements, including payment of any outstanding fees, to facilitate inclusion in the graduation lists and printing of correct certificates and transcripts
List of Graduands
The list will be posted as soon as it is approved. Continuously keep on confirming with your Department if you have met the Graduation requirements.
Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately.
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
The confirmation of accuracy and order of names will be done latest by Friday,26th February 2023 to facilitate the processing of certificates.
Academic attire
The Gowns will be issued from respective schools from Friday, 4th March 2021. Each graduand must fill and sign collection/hiring contract form. All graduand must return the Gowns by 17th March, 2021. Failure to return on the due date will attract a penalty of Ksh.500 per day as per the contract.
Rehearsal
All postgraduate graduands and other invited graduands are asked to attend the pre-rehearsal on Tuesday,8th March and Rehearsal on Wednesday 9th March 2021.
Collection of Certificates
Graduands are asked to collect certificates from 18th March 2021 upon clearance.
Punctuality
Graduands must take their seats by 8.00 am., and invited guests are expected to be seated at the same time.
