The University has postponed the re-opening of campus for face to face learning to January 2023. However, we are happy to inform you that we shall offer all our programs through the blended e-learning mode in September Semester, effective from 7th September 2020.
KABARAK UNIVERSITY REGISTRATION, TRAINING & ORIENTATION DATES FOR 2020/2021 ACADEMIC SESSION
All the new students are therefore informed as follows:
Online Registration and Training
- 5th August – 4th September – ERP System open for new students to register online
- 6th -14th August – Online Admission and Registration
- 17th August – 28th September – Training on the usage of blended e-learning platform
- 31st August – 4th September – Virtual orientation of new students
- 4th September – Last day for Government Sponsored students to submit course transfer forms to Registrar (Academic and Research).
- 7th September – Online lectures begin for new students
Throughout the semester, the University will offer continuous student support system on the Learning Management System and digital literacy. A detailed registration procedure and the Academic Calendar have been posted on the University website.
All 2019 KCSE Government Sponsored students who have not downloaded their admission letters should do so by 10th August 2020. You are required to scan and email copies of acceptance admission letter, KCSE certificate/result slip, school leaving certificate, National Identity Card/Birth Certificate/Passport and a passport-size photograph of yourself to admissions@kabarak.ac.ke not later than 28th August 2020.
Requirements for Blended E-Learning
The requirements for blended e-learning are as follows:
- You must have access to any of the following devices: laptop or desktop computer, an iPad, a tablet, or a
- You must attend your e-learning classes at a location with reliable network coverage and minimal
Administrative Fees
Because of blended e-learning, the University has adjusted your Administrative fee downward, from KES 24,400 to KES 13,300, distributed as follows:
- Examination fee – 3,000/=
- Technology fee – 3,000/=
- Library fee – 2,000/=
- Registration – 1,500/=
- Student Organization Fee – 200/=
- Student Benevolent – 100/=
- CUE Quality Assurance Fee – 1,000/= Payable once Student ID – 500/= payable once
- Caution money – 2,000/= payable once (refundable)
- Total – 13,300/=
All government sponsored students are required to pay the KUCCPS placement fee of KES 1,500, payable once. The University shall remit this fee to KUCCPS.
All fees are payable before or at the beginning of each semester. At least 75% of the fees should be paid before or on registration. The balance of 25% should be paid by 10th October 2020. Please indicate your admission reference number in the bank deposit slip as the reference number. Our fee collection bank accounts are as follows:
