This article contains information on the Kenya Methodist University (KEMU) Choice of Mode of Study Form for first (1st) trimester 2021.
Attention is drawn to the above subject. The Directives from the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health on re-opening of Kenyan Universities in January 2023 requires that the process be done in a phased manner. In line with this, the 137th University Senate Meeting held on Wednesday 9th December 2020 approved Blended Learning as a new Mode of Study which combines both on-line and face to face interactions.
Due to the on-going global health pandemic in the country and the need to balance between Education and Health of both Staff and Students, the University Senate decided that part of the students will continue with their on-line studies while the other will be taught face to face beginning 1″ Trimester 2021 until further notice.
KEMU CHOICE OF MODE OF STUDY FORM DEADLINE
In respect to this. the University requires all continuing students to choose their preferred mode of study in 1st Trimester 2021 on or before Tuesday 15th December 2020. This requirement EXCLUDES all Full Time/Part-Time students in PRACTICAL BASED Programmes such as:
- Applied Biology
- B.Ed Sci
- BS Agriculture,
- Diploma in Animal Heal
- Diploma in Horticulture
- BS & Diploma in Hospitality Management, Travel and Tourism Management
- School of Medicine and Health Sciences (Medicine &Surgery, Phar-macy, Clinical Medici Medical laboratory Sciences and Nursing)
NOTE 1: A ll students in the programmes listed above are NOT supposed to fill this form and will report face to face in 1st Trimester 2021 unless advised otherwise.
NOTE 2: Student in other programmes responding to this form are supposed to login using their KeMU student emails only. You are therefore required to indicate whether you would like to continue with your studies on-line or face to face with the on-going situation. Thanking you in advance.

- Kindly visit the KEMU Mode of Study Application portal.
- Fill in the required information and click on SUBMIT.
