We are happy to present to you the University of Nairobi’s 74th Graduation List for December 2025. The management of the institution has released the names of successful graduates as well as the graduation proceedings.

UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI, UON, 74TH GRADUATION LIST FOR 2024
The University of Nairobi (UoN) is pleased to announce its 74th Graduation Ceremony, scheduled to take place physically on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Chancellor’s Court, starting from 7:30 a.m.
This milestone event celebrates students who successfully completed their studies during the 2024/2025 academic year. The ceremony will also be streamed live through:

REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION
Only those who have satisfied all the academic requirements, completed paying all the fees due to the university, and been cleared of any disciplinary cases, will be allowed to graduate. Confirm that all marks entered in the SMIS are correct and all required units are complete.
CONFIRMATION OF NAMES
All graduands are advised to confirm the ORDER and SPELLING of their names with their respective Deans of Faculties. The use of initials will NOT be allowed
CLEARANCE
Only those who have completed paying the fees due to the university will be allowed to graduate.  All graduands are advised to confirm the order of their names with their respective Deans. All fees should be cleared at least one month before graduation.
LIST OF GRADUANDS
The official list of graduands for the University of Nairobi’s 74th Graduation Ceremony will be made available on the University’s website once all academic and financial clearances are finalized.
Students are urged to regularly visit www.uonbi.ac.ke for updates and to confirm that their names are correctly captured.
ACADEMIC ATTIRE
Graduands who wish to hire academic gowns must apply and pay the graduation fee before the deadline.
- Gown Collection: Monday, December 1 – Friday, December 5, 2025 (working hours).
- Return Date: On or before Tuesday, December 16, 2025. A penalty of KShs. 100 per day will apply for late returns.
GRADUATION/CONVOCATION FEE
Only those who have cleared all outstanding fees and dues will be allowed to graduate.
Graduands must settle any fees balances by Friday, November 21, 2025, in line with Statute XXX of the University.
To complete clearance, students must obtain a clearance certificate from their Faculty Registrar, confirming they have settled obligations with the Departments, Library, Halls of Residence, Games, and Finance Department.

PUNCTUALITY AND REHEARSAL
A mandatory rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Chancellor’s Court. All graduands attending the ceremony must participate in the rehearsal to understand the seating arrangement and procession order. On the graduation day, guests and graduands are expected to arrive before 7:00 a.m. to ensure smooth proceedings.
