UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI, UON, 71ST GRADUATION LIST FOR 2024
The University of Nairobi wishes to inform all students who qualified for the award of various degrees and diplomas at the end of the last academic year (2023-2024) and members of the public that the 71st Graduation Ceremony will be held PHYSICALLY on Friday 20th September 2024, commencing at 7 a.m. at the University Main Campus.
REQUIREMENTS FOR GRADUATION
Only those who have satisfied all the academic requirements, completed paying all the fees due to the university, and been cleared of any disciplinary cases, will be allowed to graduate. Confirm that all marks entered in the SMIS are correct and all required units are complete.
CONFIRMATION OF NAMES
All graduands are advised to confirm the ORDER and SPELLING of their names with their respective Deans of Faculties. The use of initials will NOT be allowed
CLEARANCE
Only those who have completed paying the fees due to the university will be allowed to graduate. All graduands are advised to confirm the order of their names with their respective Deans. All fees should be cleared at least one month before graduation.
LIST OF GRADUANDS
The list will be posted as soon as it is approved. Continuously confirm with your Department if you have met the Graduation Requirements.
Any potential graduate whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his or her School immediately.
GRADUATION/CONVOCATION FEE
Each graduand will be required to obtain a clearance certificate from the relevant Faculty Registrar upon clearance with the respective Department, Library, Halls of Residence, Games Department, finance, and pay a compulsory graduation or convocation fee as stated below:
