The Chancellor, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, MMUST, on behalf of the University Council, Management Board and Senate has released the names of successful graduands.

MASINDE MULIRU UNIVERSITY (MMUST) 22ND GRADUATION LIST FOR DECEMBER 2025

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) has officially announced the 22nd Graduation Ceremony, scheduled for Friday, 5th December 2025, at the MMUST Graduation Square in Kakamega. All students who completed their studies in the 2024/2025 Academic Year and qualified for conferment of Degrees, Diplomas, and Certificates are invited to take note of the key instructions, deadlines, and graduation procedures.

Examination Results

The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.

List of Graduands

Eligible students can confirm whether they are on the 2025 MMUST graduation list by checking through the graduation application portal on the university website (www.mmust.ac.ke).
Graduands are urged to verify the following:

  • Inclusion of their names on the list
  • Correct spelling of their names
  • Accuracy of their programme and award

Any errors should be reported promptly to the respective faculty offices.

Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names

All graduands must verify their academic details and ensure that their names appear exactly as they should on their final certificates.
MMUST emphasizes that each student must:

  • Confirm the order of names
  • Check spelling accuracy
  • Ensure all academic records are correct

Once certificates are printed, no changes will be made, so this verification process is crucial.

Clearance & Fees

To qualify for graduation, every graduand must:

  1. Clear all outstanding fees, including graduation fees.
  2. Complete the online clearance process and print the clearance certificate.
  3. Ensure this process is finished by 20th November 2025 at the latest.

Academic Attire

Academic regalia will be issued from the respective Schools:

  • Issue Dates: Monday, 17th November – Friday, 28th November 2025
  • Return Deadline: Friday, 9th January 2026
  • Late Return Penalty: KES 500 per day

Graduands must present a clearance certificate to collect their gown.

Rehearsals

Graduation rehearsal is mandatory for all graduands.
Details:

  • Date: Thursday, 4th December 2025
  • Time: Be seated by 11:00 a.m.
  • Venue: MMUST Graduation Square – Kakamega
  • Dress Code: Full academic regalia

Students who miss rehearsal may not be allowed to participate in the main ceremony.

Punctuality

All graduands and invited guests should arrive early.
MMUST requires that everyone be seated by 8:30 a.m. on the graduation day. Late arrivals may miss key parts of the ceremony or be restricted from joining the main procession.

Picking of Certificates

After the ceremony:

  • Graduands will receive communication from their Schools on certificate collection timelines.
  • Only students who have cleared all fees and returned their regalia will be allowed to collect certificates.
  • Graduands must present valid identification and any required clearance documents.
