The academic calendar for 2020/2021 academic session as approved by senate of the Midlands State University, MSU.
2020 SEMESTER DATES
Midlands State University wishes to advise all its students of the following important semester dates:
NB. Visiting School and Block Release students will come for revision and examinations together with their Conventional counterparts. However, please note that no on-campus accommodation will be offered to visiting and block release students.
Revision and Examination Dates for December 2020 – May 2021 semester
- All level 4 and 5 (final year students) from Faculties of Science and Technology, Engineering and Geosciences and NRMA including final year Education students (Sciences), will come for face-to-face revision and examinations from 15 March 2021 to 9 April 2021. Level 2.1 and 2.2 Postgraduate students will also come during this period.
- All level 4 and 5 (final year students) from Faculties of Arts, Commerce, Law, Education (Arts and Humanities) and Social Sciences will come for face-to-face revision and examinations from 15 March 2021 to 26 March 2021. Level 2.1 and 2.2 Postgraduate students will also come during this period.
- All current level 1 students from Faculties of Science and Technology, Engineering and Geosciences and NRMA, Arts, Commerce, Law, Education and Social Sciences will come for face-to-face revision and examinations from 29 March 2021 to 9 April 2021. Postgraduate students will also come during this period.
- The new level 1.1 (April 2021 Intake) students will come for registration and orientation from 12 April 2021 to 23 April 2021.
- All current level 2 students from Faculties of Science and Technology, NRM and levels 2 & 3 from Engineering and Geosciences including Education (Sciences), will come for face-to-face revision and examinations from 26 April 2021 to 21 May 2021.
- All level 2 students from Faculties of Arts, Law (level 2 & 3), Social Sciences and Education (Arts and Humanities) will come for face-to-face revision and examinations from 10 May 2021 to 21 May 2021.
- All level 2 students from Faculty of Commerce will come for face-to-face revision and examinations from 24 May 2021 to 4 June 2021.
- Kindly note that students on Work Related Learning are not required to come for face to face lectures and examinations
- Faculty of Medicine students will be advised of their dates in due course.
