UNIVERSITY OF MAIDUGURI ADMISSION GUIDELINES AND FORMS
Gaining admission into an Undergraduate Programme in UNIMAID is basically under 2 entry method which includes the UTME entry and the Direct Entry. Prospective students of University of Maiduguri, UNIMAID are to obtain the JAMB Forms, choose University of Maiduguri and sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Board as prescribed in the relevant advertisement for the 2024/2025 admission exercise. Also, applicants must complete the online University of Maiduguri, UNIMAID Application Forms. UNIMAID Post UTME/DE Post UTME/DE Online Application Procedure
- Visit the UNIMAID Admission Portal through the link as stated below.
- Click on register to create account, fill the registration form and click register account
- Please do not use yahoo mail.
- A confirmation link will be sent to your email click on the confirm email button and you will be redirected to the payment page.
- After making the payment, log in with your username (email address/Jamb number) and password.
- Continue with your registration
- First you will be redirected to course selection page where you will be required to provide the following
- UTME first choice
- UTME second choice
- UTME subject combination
- UTME score
- Next you will be redirected to a bio data form. Ensure to fill all the required fields, upload a recent passport photograph, save and click next.
- Here you will be required to provide your O level results, a maximum of two sittings is allowed.
- On the next step you will be required to provide details of previous institutions attended with qualifications obtained. DE students should ensure to provide the grades obtained from any post-secondary school attended.
- Next you will be redirected to the documents upload page where you are to upload scanned copies of your certificates and results.
- Click-submit when completed and confirm submission.
- Upon successful completion, the message “Application submitted successfully it cannot be altered. Thanks” will be displayed.
UNIVERSITY OF MAIDUGURI APPLICATION FEE
Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of N 2000 by following the payment method as stated in the application procedure. This fee is non-refundable even if you decide not to study through UNIMAID, do not qualify for admission to UNIMAID or cannot be offered a space due to limited spaces available. UNIMAID does not accept cash at any of its offices. The due date for the application fee is the closing date for the application period. Any application submitted without an application fee paid on time will not be processed. Please ensure that you keep a copy of your proof of payment.Make sure that your application is complete
If your application for admission to study through UNIMAID is incomplete, you will have to re-apply during the next application period.UNIMAID APPLICATION REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
All applicants starting a new qualification must present all the required documents, which generally consists of the following:- UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy)
- UNIMAID Post-UTME Acknowledgement Slip (Coloured and photocopy) JUPEB/A-LEVEL/OND/HND/BSc. RESULT SLIP for DIRECT Entry candidates
- O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) OR an online version of the result
- UNIMAID Online application form (FOR DIRECT ENTRY ONLY)
- Passport Photographs
