It is announced for the information of prospective applicants and the general public that the School of Graduate Studies, UNIMAID, is offering the postgraduate programmes for the 2022 academic year leading to the award of Masters, PGD and Doctorate Degrees.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS, and SPECIAL CASES.
UNIMAID POSTGRADUATE APPLICATION PROCEDURE & ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Entry Requirements:
- A good first degree in a relevant and related course with at least a Second Class Lower Division from a recognized University.
- Applicants with a Third class in related fields, with a Postgraduate diploma may be considered. Such applicants will be subject to an interview and / with entrance examination.
- A masters degree will be required for PhD applicants.
- Applicants must submit the following with applications:
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae.
- Certified copies of transcripts and certificates.
- Personal statement of not more than 500 words (1½ pages) detailing your motivation for wanting to study the Course and what you believe you will gain from it.
Application Procedure
Forms are obtainable at the School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Maiduguri after paying a non-refundable fee of N 15,000 at UNIMAID Microfinance Bank. All completed application forms should reach the Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies on or before the deadline.
