KYU Change of Programme Application 2023/2024

We are pleased to announce that the application for the Kyambogo University (KYU) Change of Programme for the 2023/2024 academic year is now open.

For fresh students of Kyambogo University, there’s an opportunity to adjust their academic pathways. The university is currently offering the chance for students, admitted under the Direct Entry Scheme for the academic year 2023/2024, to modify their selected programme or study time.

KYU Change of Programme Eligibility

1. The student must have gained admission through the Direct Entry Scheme for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
2. Those wishing to change either their programme or study time need to ensure they fall within the cut-off points for the new choice. Availability is also contingent upon the number of open positions in the desired programme or study time.
3. It’s crucial to note that students who have appealed their admission are not eligible to modify their programme or study time.

Application Procedure

To submit a request to alter the programme or study time:

• Access your individual student’s portal at the Kyambogo University Portal. Ensure your portal is activated.
• Navigate to the “request” section on your portal.
• Provide the necessary information as prompted.
• Confirm and submit your request via the portal.
• After submission, generate a payment reference number and complete the payment at any designated bank.

Students should be ready to cover the following charges:

• Change of Programme: UGX 50,000
• Change of Study Time: UGX 10,000

Additionally, ensure you have photocopies of:

• Application Form
• Admission Letter
• O-Level Result Slip and Certificate
• A-Level Result Slip and Certificate
• Proof of Payment

The deadline for submission of the requests is set for Friday, August 18, 2023.
