MAK Mature Age Entry Eligibility
The Mature Age Entry Scheme is for candidates who have passed the Mature Age Entry Examinations conducted in October 2021 and December 2022. It’s crucial to note that applicants can only apply for the course for which they sat the examination.
MAK Mature Age Entry Application Procedure
To submit your application, follow these steps:
- Visit the application portal: Makerere University Application Portal.
- This application is specifically for candidates who have passed the Mature Age Entry Examinations of October 2021 and December 2022.
- Candidates may only apply for the course for which they took the examination.
There’s an application fee involved:
- For Ugandans and East Africans, a non-refundable fee of UGX 50,000 (Fifty thousand shillings only)
- For International applicants, an equivalent of $75
This fee should be paid at any of the banks used by Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), following the generation of a Payment Registration Number (PRN) from the application system.

The application window is now open and will close on Friday, 16th June 2023.
