We are happy to present to you the Central University of Technology (CUT) Spring Graduation List – 2022 Updated. The Chancellor, Central University of Technology (CUT), on behalf of the University Council, the Management Board and Senate have released the names of successful graduands.
Therefore, all successful graduands can check their names below or on the university website.
CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (CUT) SPRING GRADUATION LIST FOR 2022
Kindly note that the university management resolved to defer the 2022 Spring Graduation Ceremony which was planned for September 2022 to the 2023 Autumn Graduation Ceremonies. The Central University of Technology experienced student protest in the beginning of the academic year 2022 which affected the academic calendar and student performance. Deferring the September graduation is regrettable, however necessary under the circumstances.
What does this mean for candidates who qualify to graduate?
All graduates who have met the requirements for their qualification will be awarded their qualifications in absentia, including final transcripts, at their registered campus on 04 November 2022.
These graduates will be included in the next faculty graduation ceremonies to be hosted at the Bloemfontein and Welkom campuses in 2023.
It is important to note that completion letters will be sent out to the graduate’s e-mail addresses from 04 October 2022.

Currently, identified prospective graduates have been listed for the following faculties:
- Faculty of Management Sciences, Bloemfontein Campus
- Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology, Bloemfontein Campus
- Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences, Bloemfontein Campus
The list will be updated on Wednesday, 05 October 2022.
If you are of the opinion that you have complied with all academic requirements for your qualification to be awarded but your name does not appear on the lists, contact your Assessment and Graduation Unit (AGU) faculty employee.

Examination Results
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.

Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately. All students aspiring to graduate are requested to ensure that they meet the requirements for graduation.
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
All graduands are requested to verify their names. Any requests for changes in spelling and order of names should be made within this period at the respective campus admissions office. The Senate-approved graduands’ list will be posted above and on the University website.
Clearance & Fees
All graduands should be cleared by the Central University of Technology (CUT)’s Accounts Office before registering for graduation. Any outstanding fees must be paid before the deadline. Only graduands cleared by the Accounts office will be allowed to register for graduation.
Academic Attire
Graduands are expected to be in full graduation attire graduation ceremonies. The graduation gowns will be hired and will be collected from the respective Deans of Schools at the Main Campus and from the Examination Offices in respective campuses during office hours.
Punctuality
On graduation day, all graduands will participate in the graduands’ procession in order of their school at 7.00 a.m.
