Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme.

Mulungushi University (MU), one of Zambia’s three public universities. It comprises three (3) campuses: the Great North Road Campus located 26 kilometres north of Kabwe, on the banks of the Mulungushi River; the Kabwe Town Campus located along Mubanga Road, off Munkoyo Street, in the heart of Kabwe town; and the Livingstone Medical School located at Livingstone General Hospital in the heart of Livingstone City.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON-SCHOOL LEAVERS and SPECIAL CASES.

All completed application forms should be accompanied by certified copies of the transcript of results and certificates, a bank deposit slip, or a receipt from the bursar’s office, and should reach the academic office.

MULUNGUSHI UNIVERSITY BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should attach the following documents:

PRE-SERVICE

• Grade 12 School Certificate with five (5) O’ levels or equivalent with Credit or better in English, Mathematics, Science or Chemistry, Physics and Biology, and any other subject

• A-levels from a recognised, reputable institution.

IN-SERVICE

• A copy of a Certificate or Diploma in Nursing obtained from a registered and recognised Institution
• A copy of the National Registration card
• Registered with the General Nursing Council of Zambia (GNCZ)
• Have a valid practicing licence with the GNCZ
• Two referees (One from their nursing training institution)
