HTU 23rd Congregation Graduation list – 2023

HO TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY CONGREGATION AND LIST OF GRADUANDS FOR 2023

Applicants are advised to check your graduation status by visiting the Ho Technical University‘s website.

It is announced for the information of graduands of Ho Technical University and the general public that, the 23^rd Congregation of the University will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. prompt in the G.M. Afeti Auditorium each day.

Graduands whose names have been published as having satisfied all the requirements for graduation in 2022 and who wish to be presented should register on the HTU Student Portal by following the information stated below:

• Pay the Congregation fee of GHc 450.00 at any branch of GCB Bank through the Eagle-Pay platform by indicating “Congregation Fee” and log onto HTU Student Portal to complete registration,
• The deadline for registration is 27th January 2023.

Graduands who may not attend the congregation shall pay GH¢ 450 before they collect their Certificates.

Graduands will be expected to make their own arrangements for accommodation and meals.

PAYMENT OF GRADUATION FEE

Granduands are to pay the congregation fee of GHc395 at any branch of GCB Bank or Zenith Bank through the Eagle-pay platform, indicating ‘Congregation Fee’. An official receipt from the Bank shall be submitted by graduands at their respective faculties on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 for registration and collection of academic gowns and scrolls.

Clearance

Graduands registration details shall include the following;

• Full Name (only names registered with the institution shall be recognized)
• Programme of Study
• Contact number(s)

Examination Results

The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.

Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately.

Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names

Graduands must ensure that all courses taken in their program of study have been graded and passed and that there are no missing courses or grades.

Punctuality 

Graduands must take seats by 8.00 am. You are allowed to invite one (1) guest only to be present at the Ceremony. 4. Invited graduands and their guests will be required to strictly follow the health Protocols.

For any clarifications and more updates, please visit the University website. All graduands will be provided with University souvenirs in the form of neckties for males and scarves for females and the Congregation Brochure, when they pick up their certificates.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO NOTE

1. Distribution of gowns and scrolls to registered graduands commences on Wednesday, 1^st February, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. at designated Faculty sharing points.
2. There would be brief rehearsals for graduands at 2:00p.m prompt on Thursday 2nd February 2023. Graduands must be punctual and take part in them.
3. Visit the University website (htu.edu.gh) and the main Notice Board at the Afese Block for the graduation list.
4. In strict adherence to the health protocols, the following rules SHALL apply during the 23rd Congregation ceremony;
   1. Graduands are encouraged to come in their face masks. Note that, NO MASK, NO GRADUATION!
      
   2. Guests and guardians of graduands SHALL NOT be permitted to attend the 2nd Congregation ceremony.
   3. There SHALL BE NO group refreshment by graduands on campus.
   4. NO commercial or business activity is permitted before, during and after the ceremony.
   5. The University has accredited photographers for graduands who wish to take pictures after the ceremony on campus; thus, no other photographer shall be permitted on campus.
