We are happy to present to you the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, KNUST 54th Congregation: List of Graduating Students -2020. The Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the University Council, Management Board and Senate has released the names of successful graduands.
The first-ever Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, KNUST blended (virtual and in-person) graduation ceremony will be held for all final year students who have successfully completed their academic programmes of study during the 2024 academic Year. This arrangement for the 54th Congregation Ceremony has become necessary in order to comply with the health safety protocols.

KNUST 54TH GRADUATION LIST FOR 2020 VIRTUAL CONGREGATION
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi announces for the information of 2020 Graduands and the General Public that its 54th Congregation (Virtual) will be held on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 and SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2020.
GRADUANDS who completed their Programmes of Study in June, 2020 and wish to be presented at the Ceremony should pay GHC 250.00 in CASH at any of the following banks: ECOBANK, GCB, UBA, GT BANK, CAL BANK, REPUBLIC BANK, ABSA BANK, CBG and STANDARD CHARTERED BANK.
Deadline for payment is Friday, September 11, 2020.
The graduation fee covers Congregation Publications, Graduation Medals, Certificate Holders, University Souvenirs and Administrative Costs.
Graduands are required to provide the following information at the Bank:
- Name
- Programme of Study
- Examination Index Number
- Student ID Number
- Contact Address
- Telephone/ Cell phone Number
- Email Address
Procedure for Registration
Students who wish to be presented for the virtual ceremony will be required to upload a decent portrait picture (in a formal wear) using the students’ portal (HERE!). Deadline for picture upload is Friday, September 11, 2020.

Collection of Certificates
- Graduates are to collect their Certificates and Souvenir package from their respective Colleges between September 22, 2020 and October 31, 2020.
- Those who are unable to collect their Certificates and Souvenirs during this period should pick theirs from the Examinations Office (Casely Hayford Building) at their earliest convenience.
- The University would mount photo booths from September 22 – October 31, 2020, for interested graduates to take their Graduation Photographs.

Examination Results
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.
Clearance & Fees
Graduands who have successfully completed their programmes during the 2024 academic Year and wish to be presented during the August, 2020 Congregation are required to be cleared of any financial obligations to the University prior to registration for the Congregation.
List of Graduands
The list will be posted as soon as it is approved. Continuously keep on confirming with your Department if you have met the Graduation requirements. The online Congregation Brochure containing the list of the graduands will also be made available on the website.
Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately.
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
Graduands must ensure that all courses taken in their program of study have been graded and passed and that there are no missing courses or grades.
Punctuality
Graduands must take seats by 9.00 am.
