Application for the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation funding for Secondary School Students in Kenya – 2022/2023 entry is now open for all outstanding Kenyan Students by the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation in Kenya.

The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation is inviting applicants for the Jomo Kenyatta Foundation funding for Secondary School across Kenya.

The Board of Directors of The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation invites applications from qualified Form One Kenyan secondary school students for 2011 scholarships. The studentships are tenable in any duly registered Public Secondary School in Kenya.

The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation was established by the Government in 1966 with the sole objective of advancing education and alleviation of poverty. The Foundation carries out this mandate through publishing quality, competitively priced publications as well as running a scholarships programme for bright but needy students to secondary school.

The Scholarships are one of the most prestigious scholarships in Kenya. The aim of the program is to create a global network of future leaders committed to improving the lives of others.

JOMO KENYATTA FOUNDATION FUNDING ELIGIBILITY

Scholars are selected on the following criteria:

  • Poor orphan
  • A poor child with a disability
  • Child rendered vulnerable by factors affecting access to education
  • A child suffering from extreme poverty
  • A child who attains 70% of the maximum marks or as agreed by the Board of Directors for marginalized areas and persons with disabilities.

JOMO KENYATTA FOUNDATION FUNDING APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

To apply for this application for secondary school students, follow the instructions below;

The Application requirements involves:

  • A certified copy of KCPE result slip
  • A letter of recommendation from the headteacher of the Primary School last attended
  • A copy of Form one-admission letter/joining instructions.

Application deadline is December 10, 2019.
