This is to inform all the prospective candidates offered provisional admission or probably seeking admission into the Kabete National Polytechnic for 2023/2024 academic session that the management of the institution has released the amount they are required to pay as acceptance fee. We specifically publish this information here today, for all people who need to know the current school fees of the Kabete National Polytechnic. Please note that if you have applied for admission to the Kabete National Polytechnic or if you are already a student, it is advised that you know the current tuition fees for all students, and this knowledge will help you, avoiding making mistakes that will cost you your admission.

KABETE NATIONAL POLYTECHNIC SCHOOL FEES STRUCTURE FOR ALL PROGRAMMES

The following is the Kabete National Polytechnic certificate and diploma programmes and their respective tuition fees:

  • Fees for all courses are low and affordable. The details are given when a student is selected to join the Polytechnic.
  1. School fees is exclusive of mandatory charges for NEW STUDENTS which are as follows:
    1. Caution Ksh 2,000
    2. Book fund Ksh 1,000
    3. Hostel Registration Ksh 1,550 (For those students seeking accommodation in the college
    4. Development Ksh 5,000
    5. Student Student ID Ksh 500
  2. The fees further are exclusive of;
    1. Examination fees – As per the course as determined by KNEC
    2. Boarding fees – 5,000 per term
    3. Part Time Trainers (Phar-macy, Medical Lab, Hospitality, Diploma in Library and information science) Fee – 2,500 Per term
    4. Studio charges – 10,000 for Journalism students
    5. Student Union Ksh 200 per term
  3. Certificate & Diploma in Geophysics Technology Students;
    1. Tuition Fees – 11,750 per term
    2. Boarding fees – 7,500 per term
    3. Part Time trainers Fee -Kshs. 7,500
  4. Medical and Phar-macy students are required to pay Kshs 1,200 for KMLTTB and PPB
  5. Helb smart card kshs 500
  6. Students sitting for external exams MUST CLEAR ALL the school fees before exam
  7. KUCCPS money can only be utilised in the following scenarios:
    1. To clear examination fees for students having challenges in raising the examination fees
    2. If the student has cleared fees for the term, the excess amount of KUCCPS money can be carried forward to the next term for continuing students
    3. If the student has cleared craf t or certificate course but is willing to proceed with the Diploma Course
  8. Any excess KUCCPS funds which is not utilised by the students for one reason or another is surrendered back to KUCCPS because this is public funds from the TAX PAYERS money
