Applications to study for the listed programmes above in 2022 are now open for both internal and external applications. INTERNAL APPLICANTS are students currently registered at Moi University for the 2022/2023 academic year. EXTERNAL APPLICANTS refer to any graduate who meet requirements for the qualification.

PhD in Immunology(3 Years) a)     Meet the common Moi University Senate approved entry requirements as they refer to Doctor of Philosophy Programmes.b)     In addition to fulfilling the common University regulations, an applicant must hold: Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree in Immunology or equivalent degree recognized by Moi University Senate.

c)     In addition, applicant will be required to pass written and oral entrance examination administered by the Department of Immunology. International students should demonstrate proficiency in English language.

d)   There are competitive scholarships to support successful applicants through the European Union Intra Africa Academic Mobility Scheme 2021-2025 for international students.

(2 Years)

 a)     Meet the common Moi University Senate approved entry requirements as they refer to Master of Science Programmes.b)     A candidate should normally have a 1st class or upper second-class honors degree in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology from Moi University or any other recognized University.

c)     Candidates with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery or Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Dentistry or any other degree in biomedical sciences with at least a credit in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology will be considered.

d)     Candidates with lower second-class honors with at least a credit in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology will be considered in addition be required to have two years experience in relevant field.

e)     Evidence of proficiency in English will be required for International Applicants.
