MU-IUPUI Poster Competition on Climate Action 2022

We pleased to present to you the MU-IUPUI Poster Competition on Climate Action for 2022 as well as how to apply. It involves the competition eligibility, requirements and the prizes involved.

MU-IUPUI Poster Competition

This Poster Competition SDG 13 engages students with the opportunity to work on the UN Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action. The competition provides a unique opportunity to share research and ideas that relate to the climate change action. Moi University Students are invited to design and submit posters that relate to the SDG 13 and compete for prizes in three categories: (1) undergraduate, (2) graduate and (3) people’s choice.

The SDG Poster Competition has been developed together with our strategic partners including Indiana University in USA, Newcastle University in United Kingdom, National Autonomous University in Mexico, and Universität Hamburg in Germany. Winners from each partner University will participate in the Virtual Global Forum to be held on 22nd April, 2022.

MU-IUPUI POSTER COMPETITION PRIZES, REQUIREMENTS, ELIGIBILITY & APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Requirements:

  • Open to undergraduate and graduate students, including doctoral students.
  • Students must be enrolled at Moi University at the time of submission.
  • Entries are limited to one poster per student.
  • Poster proposals must be submitted before 28th, February.2022.

  • Academic advisor: All student entrants must identify an academic advisor for guidance on the scientific aspects when creating the poster.

Virtual Global Competition

  • Parallel to Moi University’s poster competition, Indiana University (USA) and other international partners will hold the same competition with each institution choosing their own winners. After successful completion of the competition, the partner institutions will organize a Virtual Global Competition – an online forum, where all participants are invited to discuss research and ideas related to SDG 13: Climate Action
  • Selected winners of each institution will be asked to present their posters.
  • The Virtual Global Competition is set to take place on 22 April 2022, after the International Earth Day.

Application Deadline

  • Applications should reach the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) on or before 28th February.  2022 by midnight.
