RCU Online Application Eligibility
Faculty of Commerce
Degree Programmes:
- Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources, Industrial and Labour Relations Management
- Bachelor of Commerce in Public Administration
- Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing
- Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management
Entry Requirements:
- Conventional/Parallel Programme: A minimum of two “A” level subjects in Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Management of Business, Geography, Food Science, and Computer Science or possess a National Diploma in the relevant field or other tertiary qualifications.
- Block Release Programme: A National Diploma in the corresponding domain. It’s necessary for Block Release applicants to be engaged in a profession related to the chosen degree programme.
- Mature Entry: Applicants with a minimum of two years of experience in Public Sector, Human Resources, Business Management, or Marketing may be considered.
Faculty of Education and Social Sciences
Degree Programmes:
- Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Development
- Bachelor of Education in Special Needs Education
Entry Requirements:
Various combinations of “A” Level passes, certificates, and diplomas in teaching and related fields are considered, depending on the chosen programme. Relevant qualifications approved by the Senate may also be accepted.
Faculty of Arts and Religious Studies
Degree Programmes:
- Bachelor of Theology Honours Degree
Entry Requirements:
Both in-service and conventional programmes have specific criteria involving a combination of diplomas, A-level certificates, and experience, especially for theology candidates.

RCU Online Application Procedure
- Online Application Access: Head to the RCU Online Application Portal. Use your email address for registration. If you’ve previously registered, log in using your credentials.
- Completion of Submission: Thoroughly fill out the application form. Ensure all details provided are accurate to avoid disqualification.
- Document Attachment: Attach certified copies of your birth certificate, national identity card, and educational certificates. Originals must not be physically submitted to prevent misplacement.
- Review Before Submission: Double-check every detail on your application. Ensure all necessary fields are completed and all information is presented in the proper format.
- Submission: Forward the form directly through the online portal or to the admissions department.
Application Fee
- Zimbabwean Applicants: Non-refundable fee of US$5 or its equivalent.
