UTAMU UNIVERSITY 6TH GRADUATION LIST FOR 2020
UTAMU University, UTAMU will hold its 6th Graduation ceremony for 2020 on Friday, 18th December 2020 at 09:00 am, at the Uganda Industrial Research Institute Manufacturing, Industrial Skilling and Production Centre in Namanve, Uganda. Graduands are advised to check below for the full list of graduands.
The graduation ceremony will be presided over by the University Chancellor and other councils who will award Diplomas and Certificates and confer Degrees. To make your graduation day go as smoothly as possible, you’ll need to do a little forward planning.
- You will sit according to your degree/ diploma/ certificate group.
- Certificates and academic transcripts will be ready for you to collect on the graduation day.

Examination Results
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.
List of Graduands
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
Ensure that your names are correctly spelt and are in the right order and spelling as they will appear on the Certificate and Official Transcripts (as per your National ID or Passport). Kindly liaise with your Department for confirmation.
Rehearsal
Graduands who wish to participate in the graduation ceremony MUST avail themselves for the rehearsals on (date is yet to be fixed). Please note that rehearsal is mandatory for participants; you should, therefore, make every effort to attend and MUST wear your academic dress.
Fees and Clearance
Uganda Shillings 280,000 paid to the UTAMU Bank Account. Make sure that you clear your fees to zero balance. No student will be allowed to graduate with any outstanding fees balance.
Academic Attire
Come to UTAMU Campus to order your gown (Small, Medium or Large).
It’s compulsory for all graduates to wear academic regalia applicable (hat and gown with coloured sash) to the degree they’re being awarded at the ceremony. No regalia means no ceremony, sorry. A branded UTAMU graduation Gown will be provided and you can collect it from our campus in Bugolobi a few days before the Graduation.

As a graduate, you get one ticket for yourself and two free tickets for guests.

Photography
Photography is a big part of every graduation, with a professional photographer in attendance before, during and after the ceremony. Due to Health SOP, you will not be allowed to come with your photographer.
You should be able to get photographers at the graduation venue.
Punctuality & Invitation
You are about to become a member of alumni of Africa Nazarene University. Let us be Christ-like and professional in the way we dress and in keeping time in all that we do. Graduands’ parents/guardians/sponsors and other guests should be seated by 8.00 a.m.
The first thing you need to do is respond to your invitation, even if you’ve already made your mind up about not attending the ceremony.
