UTAMU UNIVERSITY 5TH GRADUATION LIST FOR 2019
UTAMU University, UTAMU will hold its 5th Graduation ceremony for 2019 on Friday, December 13, 2019, at the university main campus in Kampala, Uganda. Graduands are advised to check below for the full list of graduands.
The graduation ceremony will be presided over by the University Chancellor and other councils who will award Diplomas and Certificates and confer Degrees.
The information regarding preparations for the ceremony is detailed below:
Examination Results
The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.
List of Graduands
The list has been posted on the university website. Continuously keep on confirming with your Department if you have met the Graduation Requirements.
Any potential graduand whose name is not on the list is expected to visit his/her School immediately.
Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names
Ensure that your names are correctly spelt and are in the right order and spelling as they will appear on the Certificate and Official Transcripts (as per your National ID or Passport). Kindly liaise with your Department for confirmation.
Rehearsal
Graduands who wish to participate in the graduation ceremony MUST avail themselves for the rehearsals on (date is yet to be fixed). Please note that rehearsal is mandatory for participants; you should, therefore, make every effort to attend and MUST wear your academic dress.
Fees and Clearance
- Graduation fee – Ugx 280,000 – inclusive of graduation gown.
- Deadline for submission of projects/Dissertation for those who intend to graduate in September is Friday 16th of August, 2019.
- All those who will submit after the deadline until 31st August 2019 will be charged late submission fee in order to be included among those graduating.
- All those who will submit after 31st August will not be included in the September 2019 graduation.
Academic Attire
Graduands will be expected to wear the full academic attire. The dates for picking Gowns (would be communicated soon). The gowns will be picked from the Registrar’s Student Registry Office. You are requested to come with your national Identification Card (a must) and a carrying bag for the regalia.
Note that only graduands in full graduation attire will be allowed to enter into the Graduation Square. The Academic dress will be returned to the same office after graduation, on or before (date would be communicated soon) after which a penalty will be charged for every day exceeded and part thereof.
Punctuality
You are about to become a member of alumni of Africa Nazarene University. Let us be Christ-like and professional in the way we dress and in keeping time in all that we do. Graduands’ parents/guardians/sponsors and other guests should be seated by 8.00 a.m.
