VUST 6th Graduation List for 2026

We are happy to present to you the Valley University of Science & Technology (VUST) 6th Graduation List for January 2025. The Chancellor, Valley University of Science & Technology (VUST), on behalf of the University Council, Management Board and Senate has released the names of successful graduands.

All successful graduands can check their names below or on the university website.

VALLEY UNIVERSITY (VUST) 6TH GRADUATION LIST FOR JANUARY 2026

According to the latest communication from the Office of the Academic Registrar (dated 21st November 2025), the Valley University of Science & Technology (VUST) 6th Graduation ceremony is scheduled to take place on Friday, 9th January 2026. This event is specifically for students who completed their studies in January, May, June, and August 2025.

If you are a potential graduand, it is time to finalize your clearance and prepare for your big day. Below is everything you need to know about the VUST Graduation List, fees, and requirements.

Examination Results

The results of the examinations are available from the offices of the respective Deans of Faculties/Schools during working hours.

List of Graduands

The official VUST Graduation List is compiled based on students who have cleared both their academic and financial obligations.

While the preliminary names are often displayed on the University notice boards, the Final Graduation List will only contain the names of students who have:

Passed all examinations.
Submitted their research reports by the deadline.
Paid all graduation and tuition fees.

Tip: Keep checking the university notice board and website. If you have cleared everything but do not see your name, contact the Registrar on 0760102024.

Verification Of Academic Records And Order Of Names

To avoid errors on your final transcript and certificate, it is vital to verify your details.

Order of Names: Ensure your names appear exactly as they do on your previous academic documents (e.g., O-Level and A-Level certificates).
Spelling: Check for any spelling errors.
Correction: Any discrepancies should be reported to the admissions or registrar’s office during the clearance process.

Clearance & Fees

This is the most important step to securing your seat at the 6th Graduation Ceremony. You must obtain clearance from various University Offices (Library, Hostel, Finance, etc.).

Required Documents for Clearance:

University ID.
Hostel clearance forms.
Previous receipts.
Admission number.

Approved Graduation Fees:
All payments must be made to the University Account in Centenary Bank.

Fee Breakdown:

Graduation Fees: UGX 250,000/= (Applicable to all graduands).
Gown Fees (Diploma & Certificate): UGX 75,000/=.
Gown Fees (Degree & Postgraduate): UGX 85,000/=.

Important: Keep all your bank slips safely. You will need to present original receipts as proof of payment during clearance.

Rehearsal

Attendance at the graduation rehearsal is typically mandatory to ensure the ceremony runs smoothly.

Status: The specific dates and programme for rehearsals and the main event will be communicated soon by the university.
Please stay close to University communication channels for the specific rehearsal schedule.

Academic Attire

All graduands are required to wear the official Valley University of Science & Technology academic regalia.

Collection: Details regarding the collection of gowns will be communicated after the clearance process begins.
Cost: Ensure you have paid the specific gown fee mentioned in the “Fees” section above (UGX 75,000 or UGX 85,000 depending on your level of study).

Punctuality

All graduands and invited guests should arrive early.
IUIU requires that everyone be seated by 8:30 a.m. on the graduation day. Late arrivals may miss key parts of the ceremony or be restricted from joining the main procession.

Picking of Certificates

After the ceremony:

Graduands will receive communication from their Schools on certificate collection timelines.
Only students who have cleared all fees and returned their regalia will be allowed to collect certificates.
Graduands must present valid identification and any required clearance documents.
