GULU UNIVERSITY 21ST GRADUATION LIST FOR 2025
Gulu University has officially announced its 21st Graduation Ceremony, scheduled for Friday, 28 November 2025, starting at 8:00 AM at the Gulu University Sports Grounds. During this ceremony, the University will confer degrees and award diplomas and certificates to eligible graduands.
Examination Results
Graduands are required to ensure that their personal and academic details are correct in the Academic Management Information System (ACMIS). This includes verification of:
- Full Name spelling and order
- Profile photo
- Date of Birth
- Examination results
Students should log into their ACMIS portal via myportal.gu.ac.ug to review the information and report any errors to the Academic Registrar.

Verification of Academic Records and Order of Names
To avoid delays during and after graduation, students must ensure that their names appear in the correct order as they will be printed on:
- Academic transcripts
- Graduation booklets
- Certificates
Any discrepancies must be reported immediately to the Office of the Academic Registrar for corrections.
Clearance & Fees
Graduation participation requires completion of all outstanding university clearances and payment of the required fees.

Payment Procedure
- Visit the Gulu University student portal
- Log in to your student account
- Go to PAYMENTS → MY BILLS/INVOICES
- Select Graduation Invoices
- Click Generate PRN
- Print the invoice or copy the PRN and pay at any bank
Graduands must also collect a Clearance Form from their Faculty/Institute Assistant Academic Registrar or download it at www.gu.ac.ug, then complete clearance with:
- Head of Department / Faculty Dean / Institute Chief
- Dean of Students
- University Librarian
- Security Officer
- University Bursar

Graduation materials will be issued between 24–27 November 2025 at the Admissions Division.
Punctuality
Graduands must arrive early for seating, security verification, and procession arrangements. The ceremony begins at 8:00 AM, and late arrivals may not be allowed to join the procession once it starts.
Picking of Certificates & Transcripts
Graduates will collect their documents as follows:
