The application for the Gibela TVET College Bursary for the academic year 2024 is now open by Gibela Rail Transport for all South Africans in South Africa.
The Gibela Rail Transport hereby invites all outstanding TVET College students to apply for the 2023 Bursary. It is meant for students that intend to, or are currently studying towards certificate and diploma programmes that are aligned to the following listed below:
- Boiler-makers
- Electricians
- Mechanics
- Welders
- Millwrights
- Pattern-makers
- Vehicle-builders
- Plumbers
- Control and instrumentation technicians
- Fitters and turners
GIBELA RAIL TRANSPORT BURSARY APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
- A South African citizen with a South African bar-coded identity document.
- Enrolled or intending to enrol at a South African Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution.
- Able to demonstrate potential for academic success.
- In need of financial assistance.
- Current N3/N4 candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Matriculations with Mathematics, Science and English at level 4.
- Written proof of acceptance for admission to a South African TVET institution.
- Parent or Guardian proof of income.
HOW TO APPLY FOR GIBELA RAIL TRANSPORT BURSARY
Qualifying applicants are encouraged to send the below documents to gibelabursaries@communityrail.co.za:
- A short curriculum vitae.
- Certified copies of their academic records.
- Certified copy of their South African identity document
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
- Completed applications need to be submitted on or before 15 January 2022. Late applications will not be considered.
