Jones & Wagener Bursary 2027 | How to Apply
Application for the Jones & Wagener Bursary for Civil Engineering Students in South Africa – 2026/2027 Entry is now open at any South African university in South Africa.
Jones & Wagener is pleased to offer a limited number of bursaries for South African BEng / BSc students in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geochemistry, Hydrogeology, Hydrology, and Environmental Sciences studying at South African Universities. The bursaries will cover as a minimum university tuition fees but could also include accommodation and a limited textbook allowance.
Current South African tertiary students and Grade 12 scholars are invited to submit applications. These bursaries are offered to cover minimum university tuition fees, but could also include accommodation and a limited textbook allowance.
Jones & Wagener is always on the look-out for motivated and talented engineers and scientists who want to work for an innovative and progressive company. Bursary holders will be required to complete six weeks of paid vacation work at the firm’s offices during university recess periods (July or December). After completion of their studies, bursary students will be required to work for Jones & Wagener for a period equal to the period for which the bursary was held.
JONES & WAGENER BURSARY ELIGIBILITY
Scholars are selected on the following criteria:
- Applicants must be South African citizens.
- Current South African tertiary students and Grade 12 scholars awaiting or having recently received tertiary admission offers are invited to submit applications.
- Applicants who have achieved less than 75% in both Mathematics and Physical Science will not be considered.
- Applicants must possess a valid South African driver’s licence.
- Bursary holders will be required to complete six weeks of paid vacation work at the firm’s offices in Rivonia or Centurion during the July and/or December recess.

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
- Only applications that have been submitted and registered before 31 July 2026 will be considered. Successful candidates will be notified throughout the year, while unsuccessful applicants will be formally notified after 31 October 2026.
