The application for the Huawei Technologies Bursary for the academic year 2024/2024 is now open by Huawei Technologies for all South Africans in South Africa.
Huawei Technologies hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2023/2024 Bursary. Huawei Technologies has set-up a tertiary bursary fund to bolster capacity, expertise and work opportunities related to the finance sector. It is intended for tertiary students in the undergraduate level. Huawei Technologies has allocated a bursary fund specifically for the following fields below.

HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES BURSARY APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
Eligible courses are:
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronic Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Information Engineering
- Information Technology
- Mechanical Engineering
Candidate Requirements
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must be studying full-time, towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above
- You must be entering your 2nd, 3rd or final year of study, or your Honours or Masters level, in 2023
- You must be studying at a recognized tertiary institution in South Africa
- You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65%
- You must NOT be receiving any other sources of funding
- You must be passionate about pursuing a career in engineering and technology
- You must be willing to make a difference in the Telecommunications industry
HOW TO APPLY FOR HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES BURSARY
- Applications must be submitted via email to: sagraduate@huawei.com (Insert the following reference “Bursary & Your university name” in your email subject line).
Kindly attach the following documents:
- Your certified ID document.
- Your final Grade 11 results, stamped by your school or, if you have completed Grade 12, a certified copy of your Grade 12 certificate.
- A CV with all the relevant information.
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
- Completed applications need to be submitted on or before 31st March 2023. Late applications will not be considered.
