The application for the ITHUBA Bursary for the academic year 2022/2023 is now open by ITHUBA for all South Africans in South Africa.
The ITHUBA hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2022/2023 Bursary. The ITHUBA has set-up a tertiary bursary fund to bolster capacity, expertise and work opportunities related to the finance sector. It is intended for tertiary students in the undergraduate level. ITHUBA has allocated a bursary fund specifically for the following fields below.
ITHUBA BURSARY APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
Eligible courses are:
- Commerce,
- Accounting,
- Management Accounting
- Finance and Marketing
- Information Technology
- Computer Science/Engineering,
- Information Systems,
- Communication Networks
- Software Development.
Candidate Requirements
- High achieving learners in Grade 12 and first or second-year tertiary students
- Learners looking to apply must have obtained a 70% average (or above) for each subject and a 70% average (or above) total average of the Applicant’s subjects from the previous academic year.
HOW TO APPLY FOR ITHUBA BURSARY
Applications must be submitted online at:
Kindly attach the following documents:
- a certified copy of their South African ID, along with copies of their legal guardians’ IDs,
- proof of legal guardian’s income (not in excess of R350,000.00 per annum),
- a certified copy of their latest academic results,
- a provisional letter of admission from a South African tertiary institution,
- a provisional letter of admission from a South African tertiary institution’s residency or private accommodation,
- a motivational letter motivating why the ITHUBA Bursary Programme should be awarded to you and how you plan to contribute to your community’s upliftment.
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
- Completed applications need to be submitted on or before 7th November 2022. Late applications will not be considered.
