The application for the National Housing Finance Corporation (NHFC) Housing Bursary for the academic year 2024 is now open by National Housing Finance Corporation (NHFC) for all South Africans in South Africa.
The National Housing Finance Corporation (NHFC) hereby invites all outstanding students to apply for the 2023 Bursary. The NHFC has set-up a tertiary bursary fund to bolster capacity, expertise and work opportunities related to the housing finance sector. It is intended for tertiary students in the second year and postgraduate levels, in fields of study listed here-below:
- finance
- economic development
- risk management
- real estate
- property markets
- energy efficiency
- human settlements
- housing
- construction economics
- housing construction
- developmental studies
- built environment
NATIONAL HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION (NHFC) HOUSING BURSARY APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY
The Bursary Applicants must:-
- be a financially disadvantaged South African Citizen
- prove high academic performance and achievement
Although awarding of the full bursary quantum shall, as a rule be honored, the NHFC reserves the right to prioritize tuition fees, prescribed books and course material. Student accommodation and other requirements will be given less priority. The NHFC Bursary is renewable each year, depending on academic performance.
HOW TO APPLY FOR NATIONAL HOUSING FINANCE CORPORATION (NHFC) HOUSING BURSARY
Required Documents from the Bursary Applicant:
- Grade 12 and past Academic results
- R.S.A. Bar Coded ID Document
- Proof of admission by the University
- Academic record on the official letterhead of the University
- ID of Parent/Guardian
- IDs/Birth Certificates of all persons listed as part of the household
- Proof of Monthly Income of Parent/Guardian
If the required documentation is not attached to the NHFC Bursary Application Form, it will not be considered further. The closing date for applications is 31 January 2023 late applications will not be considered. Only short-listed applicants will be contacted. All applications should be forwarded to: bursary@nhfc.co.za
CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS
- Completed applications need to be submitted on or before 31 January 2023. Late applications will not be considered.
